Darwin Region - Dundee Beach - Andreas Avenue - Repair and Maintenance of Pavement due to Disaster Event (AGRN1269-31U

Recent weather events resulted damages on various section of Andreas Avenue, Dundee Beach. Scope of works included but not limited to;

Location 1 - Ch 0.2km - Ch 0,13km
• Remove and stockpile existing dumped rock for reuse.
• Excavate area to 400mm below nominated pavement finished surface level (FSL).
• Trim and compact excavated area.
• Construct 200mm subgrade using a blend of in-situ dumped rock and suitable imported material.
• Supply and install A34 Geotextile over the prepared subgrade.
• Construct a road formation in accordance with CS3609, including a 9m wide carriageway,
using imported Type 2 material.
• Stabilise the carriageway with 1.5% cement to a depth of 200mm and compact to 98% MMDD.
• Remove and dispose of existing windrows.
