The works include, but are not limited to, the decommissioning of the existing laundry water tank system at Royal Darwin Hospital and the installation of two new 50 KL stainless steel sectional water tanks, associated pressure pump system, and required structural, hydraulic, electrical and civil works. The scope includes excavation and construction of concrete footings and slab, installation of a cyclone-rated external tank enclosure designed to meet IL4 operational resilience requirements, completion of all service connections, and commissioning of the system in accordance with the approved design documentation and relevant standards. Upon completion, the system will be fully commissioned, redundant infrastructure made safe, and all disturbed areas reinstated to as was or better.

The project involves upgrading and sealing a 22.54-kilometre section of the existing unsealed road, from chainage 40.15 km to 62.69 km, on the Santa Teresa Road. The works will deliver a two-lane sealed standard road. The upgrade includes constructing an 8.0 m sealed rural arterial road on a 9.0 m carriageway within the extent of the current road alignment.This includes all associated civil works, traffic management planning and implementation, site establishment, and production of pavement materials.

The Department of Lands, Planning and the Environment will seek to procure the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant to serve as the Independent Monitor (IM) for the McArthur River Mine. This role is essential to providing independent oversight of both the mine's operations and the activities of the regulator.The successful Consultant will have demonstrated expertise in environmental performance assessment within the mining sector, along with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills - particularly experience working with regional and Aboriginal communities.The IM may be an environmental or mining agency, a university, or a qualified environmental consultancy with the necessary expertise and capability.Key Deliverables will include:Stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on Traditional Owners and the broader Borroloola community.Annual review assessing compliance of the mine operator and regulator with the environmental (mining) licence held by McArthur River Mine Pty Ltd.Annual reporting of review findings to the Minister, the McArthur Rive Mine Community Reference Group, and the Borroloola community.Further information about the Independent Monitor is available online https://nt.gov.au/industry/mining/decisions/independent-monitor-for-the-mcarthur-river-mine

The works required under this procurement is the Replacement of the Main Electrical Switchboard at the Alice Springs Hospital Engineers Department including,Site preparation and demolition/removal of existing main electrical switchboard, 1MVA HV Transformers and associated cabling/control systems.Supply, installation and commissioning of new replacement electrical switchboards, staged installation of replacement 1.5MVA HV Transformers and associated cabling/controls/power protection systems, and BMS Communication systems.New lighting and associated building works, building permits and handover documents.
