March 2026 Ex Tropical Cyclone Narelle AGRN 1269 - 34U caused considerable damage to the Harrison
Dam wall resulting in a breach of the wall which left the dam with no water. Delays were encountered in assessing the damage and receiving the final drawings.
Currently the dam has no water due to the breach, failure to rectify the breach ASAP would result in the breached dam wall remaining as it is until at least June or July 2027 until the area becomes accessible after the wet.
