Provision of Referred Testing Services for a Period of 60 Months

Provision of a pathology testing service to perform tests that are outside the current scope of accreditation of Northern Territory Government Pathology Service (NTGPS) Laboratories including Darwin, Alice Springs and Palmerston (Darwin/Alice Springs will pack specimens for interstate transfer). The tender includes the transport (optional but preferred), testing and results. Test requests must be able to be electronically transferred to the testing laboratory and results electronically transferred to the Northern Territory Laboratory Information System.
The testing laboratory must hold current RCPA / NATA (Royal College of Pathologists Australasia / National Association of Testing Authorities Australia) accreditation, with a Scope of Practice that includes the referral tests that have been performed.
