Nhulunbuy - Central Arnhem Road - Gravel Resheet 611 km - 644 km

The requirement of works is to undertake repairs to Central Arnhem Road caused by April 2023 flooding event 1064. This damage affected sections of roadway between 612km to 644km

The scope of works for these repairs consists of the following:

• Submitting all required documents requested within the RFT.
• Provide all Traffic Management requirements for the duration of the project .
• Rip and re - compact the existing roadway cleared width.
• Install flat bottom table drains, drain offlets and drain blocks.
• Crush, screen, mix and blend materials from the designated pits identified in the project Enviromental Risk Assessment to produce conforming type 2 base course material as per. Rehabilitate borrow pits on completion of the project.
• Install 200mm of Type 2 base course to achieve two x three metre traffic lanes.                                                                                                                                                                  All works are to be undertaken reflective of contract drawings and Standard Specification for Civil Maintenance V9.1 requirements.
