Darwin Region - Frances Bay Mooring Basin Lock Upgrade - Temporary Set-up for Unloading of Vessels

Hire of 2 x barges for 180 days (with the potential to extend monthly thereafter) - Tenderers prices must include mobilisation / demobilisation fees. Barges shall be in the general arrangement of:

·         Length:  40m – 65m

·         Width: 12m – 25m

·         Height (freeboard height): 0.5m – 1.5m

Deck is to be clear and flat to allow forklift (or similar) operations. Trip hazards to be removed to allow greatest utilisation and safety. Deck surface is to be non-slip. Both barges are to provide a fresh water capability at each vessel location. Fresh Water setup is not to cause a trip hazard or impair forklift movements.
