Darwin Region - Gunn Point Emerging Agribusiness Precinct - Detail Design Consultancy
The Consultant is required to produce an approved set of construction contract documents suitable for tendering the works. The general requirements of the detailed design includes:
- Site inspections
- Liaison with all Authorities, including road owners, services and DIPL
- Geotechnical investigations
- Engineering survey
- Drilling investigations, including clearing works and water bore works (test wells)
- Hydrology and hydraulic assessments, including drainage, water and onsite waste water
- Electrical infrastructure design, including analysis between centralised and distributed solar/battery and generator supply systems
- Detailed geometric design
- Associated infrastructure design (sheds, ablution facility, fencing, etc.)
- Safe system assessment
- Pavement design
- Drainage design
- Road furniture, including signage
- Preparation of drawings and tender documentation, including technical specification
- Schedule of quantities and cost estimates
- Design reports
- Road safety audit (stage 3)
- Safety in design risk assessment
- Value engineering
- 3D design modelling
- Engineering services required during construction/tender period, as and when required to clarify and support design
