All Centres - Consultancy - Remote Aerodrome Safety Inspections and Expert Technical Advice
There are currently 69 aerodromes included on the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics’ (DIPL) Remote Aerodrome Maintenance Program. Through this Program, DIPL assists with the maintenance of airside aerodrome infrastructure and with funding support for the Aerodrome Reporting Officer function at 18 aerodromes. The department is seeking the provision of expert aerodrome operational and technical advice and support, and preparation of documentation for the NT Government as required across the network of 69 aerodromes, including both Certified and non-Certified aerodromes. Undertake inspections and provide written reports on 43 nominated remote aerodromes in the Northern Territory to determine level of compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) regulations, standards or guidelines applicable to them and to provide additional information to inform DIPL’s role in supporting remote aerodrome infrastructure. In executing this Contract, the Contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Civil Aviation Act 1988 and its subordinate legislation, including the Part 139 Manual of Standards and any relevant Advisory Circulars, Civil Aviation Advisory Publications, Civil Aviation Orders and Directives where applicable, as they directly relate to the execution of this contract only.
