Katherine Region - Stuart Highway - Central Arnhem Road Intersection and Quarry Road Intersection Upgrades

The scope of Work comprises, but is not limited to the following:

·         All Contract preliminary work to establish the necessary environment, safety and quality controls

·         Establishment, maintenance and demobilisation of all site facilities

·         Liaison and cooperation with all relevant authorities and stakeholders 

·         Process and conformance testing 

·         Plan, implement and maintain appropriate and approved provision for traffic

·         Clearing, grubbing and top soil stripping as required

·         Earthworks in both cut and fill, preparation of subgrade, table drainage and batter works 

·         Import of gravel for pavement courses 

·         Reconstruction and construction of widened pavement areas and extension of Road at Central Arnhem Road Intersection and Quarry Road Intersection.

·         Drainage and protection works 

·         Installation of road furniture, line marking  and traffic control devices, and 

·         Installation of street flag lighting.
