Weemol - Sewer Reticulation and Pump Station Construction

Indigenous Essential Services (IES) has received in-principle approval from the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to proceed with the design and construction of this Project. This is required to support the future growth at Weemol remote community. The objectives of this project are to: Replacing the existing septic system with new gravity reticulation system and a terminal sewerage pumping station to pump wastewater to Bulman for treatment, this will ensure protection of the public health and prevention of spread of disease through the effective removal of wastewater from living areas.
