Darwin - Consultancy - Phase 1 - Stabilisation Assessment and Referral Area (SARA) Feasibility Study

The Department of Health is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced consultant, with extensive operational mental health knowledge, to undertake a feasibility study into the establishment of a Stabilisation Assessment and Referral Area, or other similar model, as an alternative to emergency department presentations at Royal Darwin, Palmerston Regional Hospital.
The Consultant, using their expert knowledge and experience, will provide the Principal with an assessment via inter-jurisdictional comparison mapping and validation of service models, current NT Health infrastructure utilisation, patient pathway models, and financial and workforce modelling.
