Alice Springs - Provision of Civil Project Officer Services for Capital Works Projects

A consultant Project Officer with appropriate civil construction experience at a capital works level is sought to assist the delivery of the Australian Government, ROSI program in the Alice Springs Region. 

This consultancy will assist the DIPL Project Manager and Project Officer in ensuring these contracts are adequately supervised and with a reduced level of time spent travelling by DIPL staff. This consultancy will ensure that a capital works experienced Project Officer will be onsite at all times to provide constant project surveillance, witness and release various technical hold points and ensure that the projects environmental, safety, quality and traffic management standards are maintained. The consultant Project Officers will also be required to routinely report the project progress back to the DIPL Project Manager and Project Officer. 

The consultant Project Officers, in conjunction with departmental staff, will manage the delivery of the following capital works projects; 
- Tanami Road - Early Works, Ch.261.00km to Ch.271.81km 
- Tjukaruru Road - Early Works - Ch.55.40km to Ch.40.40km

There will need to be provision in this contract for the consultant to provide up to two project officers when the periods where these projects are being constructed concurrently.
