Darwin Region - Driver Primary School - Design and Construction of an Engineered Portal Frame Shade Structure across Existing Basketball Courts

The Design and Construction of an Engineered Portal frame shade structure across existing basketball courts at Driver Primary School. 

The Request for Tender includes but is not limited to:

·         Design and Certification including Building Permit and associated documentation.

·         All relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Codes (NCC) are applicable as are NT Worksafe requirements.

·         Unobstructed height clearance zone of 7000mm above courts and 3050 clear run-off is required to satisfy ‘FIBA’ National Basketball Standards and Netball Australia national standards.

·         The Contractor and all persons required to enter the site will be required to have current ‘working with children’ (Ochre Cards).

·         The Concept drawings included in Attachment A show nominal heights the Contractor must as part of the scope verify all dimensions, heights, levels and falls.

·         Structure is to be designed for Region ‘C’ (winds to AS/NZS 1170.2) requirements.

·         All structural columns, rafters and purlins to be hot dipped galvanised.
