During the COVID Pandemic, a Pavilion was hired from Territory Hire, t/a Shadeworks Hire. This was an emergency as there wasn't a place for the people of Alice Springs to be tested for COVID. The drive through facility, at that time, was considered as an effective and lower risk way for people to be tested.
The initial hire was for 6 months, but the requirement for testing still remains, therefore this Contract is to extend the Pavilion hire, for a further 6 months. It is unknown how long this requirement will be needed.
