SREBA Terrestrial invertebrate study for the Beetaloo Sub Basin
The Department of Environment, Parks and Water Security will be undertaking terrestrial ecosystem baseline studies in the Beetaloo Sub Basin as outlined in the Terrestrial Ecosystems Guidance Note in the Strategic Regional Environmental and Baseline Assessment (SREBA) Framework. The terrestrial invertebrate work will
1. Document the fauna of the Beetaloo Sub-basin;
2. Assess levels of endemism within the Beetaloo fauna;
3. Document spatial patterns of species richness, composition and endemism within the Beetaloo Sub-basin; and
4. Assess the overall conservation values of the Sub-basin for terrestrial invertebrates, and identify.
