Consultancy - Redbank Mine Aquatic Biota and Sediment Assessment
The Legacy Mines Unit (LMU) within the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade (DITT) is proposing to engage a suitably qualified and experience consultant to:
· Develop a study design for assessment of aquatic biota, fluvial sediments and surface water quality downstream of the former Redbank Mine.
· Carry out a sampling event in line with the study design, collecting baseline data prior to any remediation works being undertaken by LMU.
Provide a report summarising the results of the monitoring, including summary and comparison of previous aquatic biota and fluvial sediment sampling.
