Darwin - Design and Construction of Grass Fire Units for Bushfires NT for a Period of 36 Months

BFNT is seeking to engage an engineering/fabrication company for the design and construction of Grass Fire Units and ancillary items to be fitted to Toyota Landcruiser cab/chassis supplied by Bushfires NT. 

o   the design and fabrication a tray and associated equipment to Bushfire NT requirements 

o   Develop the concept design to a manufacturing design taking into consideration feedback received from BFNT members. (Shop drawings from previous vehicle builds to be supplied although will require updating with any approved modifications) 

o   Build 19 vehicles over a three year contract period 

o   Vehicle requirements include: 

·         Aluminium sub-frame 

·         Aluminium fabricated lockers and draws 

·         Aluminium water tank 

·         Stowage equipment 

·         Installation of cabin and tray electrical 

·         Installation or radio’s 

·         Vehicle decals 

·         Design drawings 

o         Electrical wiring diagrams to ISO drawing standards 

o         General assembly drawings and details 

o         Full detailed designs 

o         Shop drawings
