Darwin - Consultancy - SREBA - Environmental Health Studies - Beetaloo Sub-Basin

The Environmental Health Scope of Works focuses on the collection of baseline data in accordance with the Strategic Regional Environmental and Baseline Assessment (SREBA) Framework for the Environmental Health domain in the Beetaloo Sub-Basin Region to support the monitoring of the cumulative impacts of unconventional onshore gas development.  There are four (4) individual projects to be completed:

1.                  Population Health – to set a Baseline of the current health status of the population in the Region.  Drawing on data provided by the NT Department of Health and other organisations as required.

2.                  Air Quality – to establish a Baseline of air quality at selected sites in the Region, and to develop a a Monitoring Program.

3.                  Soils – a review and gap analysis of the studies undertaken through the GBA and GISERA Programs and any other relevant work, and DEPWS data holdings to establish a Baseline and develop a Monitoring Program.

4.                  Water Quality – a review and gap analysis of the water quality studies undertaken through the GBA and GISERA Programs and the SREBA Water Quality and Quantity Studies that are in progress.

Each of the above individual projects has an independent timeline, with final technical reports to be completed according to the dates stated in the Request for Tender.

A presentation is to be made to the Beetaloo Regional Reference Group in Katherine at the completion of the Studies, and the final results will be presented in a Scientific Seminar in Darwin around July 2022, to be negotiated.

Offers may be submitted for the entire Scope of Works, or Part Offers for the four (4) individual projects listed above.
