Darwin - Supply and Delivery of Agricultural Equipment

The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade utilise a range of agricultural equipment on their research farms to carry out a range of activities including spraying crops and pastures, and slashing and mowing paddocks and farm grounds. 

The existing equipment are at the end of their serviceable life and a new equipment is required to meet or exceed the following parameters.

Item One: Boom Sprayer

o   4000ltr Tank

o   Minimum 400ltr rinse tank

o   24m Heavy Duty Steel boom with boom suspension

o   GPS Section control

o   Automatic rate control

o   Axle suspension

o   Chemical hopper

o   Enviro drum fill

o   Tee Jet air induction XR flat nozzles purple

o   3’ quick fill

o   Hand wash tank

o   Tool box

o   Hydraulic or PTO driven (preference for hydraulic)

Item Two:  Zero Turn Mower

o   Minimum 27hp petrol engine

o   Minimum 60 inch cutting deck

o   Cutting Deck constructed of minimum 3.5mm thick welded steel

o   No-flat (puncture proof) tyres

o   Roll Over Protection (ROPS)

Item Three: Slasher

o   12ft

o   Heavy Duty construction

o   Heavy Duty tyres
