Darwin Region - Dundee Boat Ramp - Design and Construct - Groyne Reconstruction and Walkway Jetty

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises design and construction of the following:

  • Reconstruction of the existing groyne, making it impervious to sand and silt, to reduce the boat ramp and navigation channel susceptibility to maintenance closures, by minimising the rate of accretion – with a DDA compliant pathway along the top of the new groyne.
  • A new walkway jetty adjacent to the boat ramp that facilitates embarking and disembarking of boat passengers.
