Darwin - Consultancy - Provision of Expert Advice on NT Wind Resource Measurement Strategy and Site Selection Assessment for Large-Scale Wind Generation

The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Consultant to provide expert advice on suitable sites for large-scale wind farms and to develop an evidence-based strategy to guide further NT wind resource assessments.

The Consultant will be required to provide a detailed report on the following items:

  • site selection assessment and wind resource mapping
  • background to Territory wind resources
  • technology pathways
  • stocktake of existing wind resource assessments/measurements
  • approach to gathering investment grade wind data; and
  • options for managing renewable energy measurement data.
