All Centres - Microsurfacing and Rut Correction of Various Roads and Highways in the NT

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises:

  • Surface correction of rutting, depressions and uneven surfaces in the Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs Regions;
  • Traffic management – escort vehicle required;
  • Submit design mixes suitable for traffic volumes and weather temperatures;
    • Expectation is that filler is cement;
  • Ensure mixes do not replicate the underlying surface (no deformation of product);
  • Supply of accurate daily records of production runs and lots;
  • Installation of temporary pavement markers;
  • Coordination of line marking with DIPL period contractor; and
  • Installation and maintenance of aftercare signage until line marking is complete.
