Supply and Delivery of Standby Diesel Generator for Ron Goodin Power Station

There is a need to procure a 1MW diesel generator as part of project RG40011. Given the age and condition of the existing black start generator and associated infrastructure at RGPS, there is a high likelihood of a critical failure. Installation of an additional standby generator will provide a backup means of restarting the station in an emergency situation to support restoration of the Alice Springs network.
When OSPS has demonstrated sufficient capability to reliably restore power to the network and there is less reliance on RGPS, this generator will then be relocated between other TGen sites to suit operational requirements.
