Early Contractor Involvement Phase One - Rum Jungle Rehabilitation Stage 3 - Water Remediation and Pit Backfill Services

This procurement process is third stage of a five-stage procurement approach for the water remediation and pit backfill works package. In this stage, three Early Contractor Involvement Participants have provided:

(a)    Water Management Plan;

(b)    Water Treatment Plant design(s) to preliminary design stage (approximately 35%);

(c)    Main Pit Backfill methodology(ies) to preliminary design stage (approximately 35%);

(d)    project construction cost and schedule to P50;

(e)    preliminary reports stating:

• how the Industry Participation Plan and the Aboriginal Participation Plan goals will be achieved during the works phase; and
• a risk and opportunities register and summary of key items;

(f)      proposed ECI Phase Two cost and scope. The ECI Phase Two deliverable is to complete the design to a “Issued for Construction” project.
