Industry Advocacy Services for the Northern Territory for a Period of 12 Months
The Buy Local Industry Advocate provides an independent advocacy function to Government on behalf of local Industry to promote and support:
a. The adoption of Buy Local principles by industry.
b. Government’s consideration of the Buy Local Plan in procurement activities in a way that consistent with local and international trade obligations.
c. Industry awareness of government’s procurement connected policies, such as the Aboriginal Procurement Policy.
The Buy Local Industry Advocate also chairs the Procurement Appeals Board.
