Darwin - Chung Wah Terrace - Document and Detailed Design of Carriageway Widening & Extension of Left Turn Lane into Forrest Parade

The Department aims to upgrade Chung Wah Tee between Temple Tee and Forrest Pde to widen the outbound carriageway and extend the left turn lane into Forrest Pde. A focus of this upgrade will be to provide separation between the through lanes and turn lane and straighten the outbound lane to remove two deviations.

This aims to prevent confusion to inbound travelling traffic turning right into Forrest Pde, not knowing if the outbound traveling traffic is turning or not.
The scope of the consultancy is to undertake onsite investigations including survey and geotechnical investigation, undertake civil design with some electrical design included for streetlight relocation, to produce detailed design drawings to allow for future construction.
Time for completion of this consultancy is 18 weeks.
