Provision of National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) for a Period of 36 Months

Under the Northern Territory (NT) Climate Change Response: Towards 2050 – Three Year Action Plan,  all government agencies are required to have emissions reduction action plans. Agencies are also required to report annually on their emissions and reduction activities. DoE NT’s action plan includes reporting on greenhouse gas emissions activities relating to building efficiencies including government school buildings (Action 1.1 – Electricity data improvement).To achieve this outcome, assistance is required from DCCEEW NSW to grant access to the NABERS online system and provide the following services relating to NABERS assessing software, enabling representatives DoE NT and DIPL offices to undertake data assessments for the required reporting:

• Quality assurance
• Rating platform energy and water updates
• Rules updates
• NTG staff training 
• Program and technical support.
