Darwin Region - Kubara Road (Kakadu) - Construct Gravel Roadway on New Alignment 0.3km to 2.5km - Mandatory Industry Briefing

The proposed upgrade consists of realigning the first 2km of Kubara Road (Kakadu). 

Strict environment management will be required throughout the delivery of these works.  

Works will include but not limited to:

  • Clearing and grubbing to establish new alignment 
  • Material extraction and processing
  • Earthworks in fill 
  • Construction of a 6m wide gravel carriageway
  • Constructions of a concrete floodway. 
  • Rehabilitation of the old alignment
