Darwin Region - LV Service Deadend Replacement for a Period of 12 Months

The Service Replacement Project arises directly from findings of the recent Feeder Inspection Program, which identified a considerable number of services requiring urgent replacement.

Addressing these deficiencies is critical to improving network safety, compliance and long-term reliability. As a result, the Contractor will be required to:

·         Replace all identified services and associated hardware to current standard.

·         Conduct polarity checks and Public safety checks on completion of individual service replacement.

·         Complete and submit all electronic paperwork associated with each service replacement upon completion.

Pricing requirements: each service shall be priced in accordance with the Schedule of Rates. The unit rate per service must cover all labour, plan, materials, and associated costs for completion of the works. The total contract price will be calculated as the unit rate multiplied by total services in package.

Any additional costs not included in the Schedule of Rates may only be charged on a fixed-rate basis, approved variation, and only when required and authorized by PWC’s Principal Representative.
