Tennant Creek Region - Phillip Creek Property Access Road - Reform, Reconstruct and Gravel Resheet 0.0 to 6.2km

Phillip Creek property access road is located approx 46km North of Tennant Creek and is accessible via the western side of the Stuart Highway.

The project seeks a qualified civil contractor to undertake flood restoration works, reinstating the access road to its pre-flood condition. The road, a critical public asset, sustained damage during two significant weather events:

Scope of Works:

- Reform, reconstruct and gravel resheet the entire 6.2km length of the access road (from Chainage 0.0 to 6.2km)

- Repair erosion scours and restore drainage infrastructure

- Desilt existing drainage systems

- Import and uniformly spread suitable fill material to damage sections, forming a stable and appropriate subgrade

- Place and compact a new gravel pavement layer with:
200mm compacted thickness
6.0m pavement width

- Achieve a mimimum 95% modified maximum dry density (MMDD) for the compacted gravel resheet layer
