Darwin - Trower Road - Upgrade Pedestrian Crossing Near Parer Drive

A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract is the upgrade of an existing pedestrian crossing located on Trower Road near the Parer Drive intersection. The works comprise of the following, but not limited to:

-        Demolition of existing pedestrian crossing, path and kerb ramps;

-        Re-alignment of the pedestrian crossing in the southwestern direction;

-        Concrete works involving concrete median infill, kerb, cut-through, path and kerb ramps;

-        Modification to traffic signal infrastructure (both vehicle and pedestrian);

-        Installation of road signage and pedestrian fencing;

-        Installation of tactile ground surface indicators;

-        Line marking;

-        Streetlight modifications.
