Tennant Creek Region - Sandover Highway - Flood Damage Repairs at Various Locations

The works to be undertaken comprise of repairs to the Sandover Highway in the Barkly Region.

Subgrade preparation by rip and recompact method using existing surface and batter material to form road carriage way. Followed by gravel resheet over the constructed subgrade pavement works including.

·         sourcing, extraction, processing by way of blending or screening and import of compliant gravel materials;

·         extraction and import of water

·         rip, re-compaction and reformation of the roadway

·         gravel re-sheeting
