Darwin - Consultancy - Economic Impact of Hydraulic Fracturing in the Beetaloo Basin
The Northern Territory Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) requires the services of a suitably qualified consultant with extensive experience in estimating and forecasting gas demand and energy price dynamics in the national energy market, and modelling industry-level and macroeconomic impacts of major projects.
DTF requires an economic impact assessment to be conducted addressing gas development in the Beetaloo Sub-basin, including a gas price impact assessment, in the NT and East Coast Gas Market, and a broader comprehensive economic impact assessment of a range of macroeconomic indicators.
Delivery of this contract is estimated to take approximately 3-months to complete and will require the development of detailed workings, a high-level public report and ministerial/senior official presentations of findings.
