All of NT - Panel Contract for The Provision of Waste Collection, Recycling and Disposal Services for a Period of 36 Months

The Northern Territory Government (NTG) is seeking to engage qualified and experienced contractors to provide the following services:

Waste Management Services: This includes routine and ad hoc services for managing waste, such as the supply, maintenance, and cleaning of waste collection equipment. The equipment encompasses items like bins, collection vehicles, compactors, balers, and bale frames.

Waste Handling: Contractors will collect, transport, sort, recycle, re-use, process, treat, destroy, and/or dispose of waste at a frequency agreed upon in collaboration with the Ordering Officer.

Site Maintenance: Contractors are responsible for removing any waste materials (e.g., rubbish, cartons, and plastic bags) deposited in or around the vicinity of the waste collection equipment during each service.

Needs Assessment: Contractors will identify and assess the needs of various agencies and assist them in selecting appropriate services and equipment, adhering to best practices in waste management based on environmental protection and circular economy guidelines.

Compliance: All waste disposals must comply with applicable legislation, waste management strategies, policies, and best practice guidelines, including relevant Australian standards and legislation.

Additional Services: Provide any additional services as needed.

Mandatory Licensing Requirement:  Tenderers must hold a valid Environmental Protection Licence (EPL) under the Environment Protection Act of 2019 when submitting their tender.
