AGRN1258 Flood Event Rural Arterial Emergency - Feb 2026 Flooding - Vaughan Springs Maintenance Grading from Ch.0 - 70km

Due to the recent flood events within the Alice Springs Region, Vaughan Springs propacc was closed, and urgent repair works are required to reinstate the road to its preexisting condition.
Maintenance grading and isolated scour repairs are required between Ch.Okm - Ch.70km.
Due to Yuendumu & Nyirripi access roads being closed, Vaughan Springs became a key access route for both communities. With Vaughan Springs propacc now being closed, all local community members are unable to reach their communities, and the station owners are only able to leave via Helicopter. See attached photos.
