Darwin Region - Repairs and Maintenance of Pavements and Drainage due Disaster event (AGRN 1269 - 31U)

A general outline of works includes but not limited to:
> Repairs of sealed roads pavements including:
o Stabilisation of pavement
o Bitumen sealing of roads
> Maintenance of drainage and batter structures
> Maintenance of unsealed roads

The site of the works is Darwin Urban and Rural Region:
The sites of the Work are located within the Darwin Regional road network, and includes other Government
institutions, installations and aerodrome as directed. (See Standard Drawing CS3602-0 for general area. Map can
be found at Civil standard drawings I Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Lociistics)
The work sites are classified as either "Urban Works, or Rural Works".
The Darwin Urban Area is defined as being north, east and west, of the Stuart Highway/Arnhem Highway
intersection, essentially covers Darwin suburbs, Palmerston suburbs, and parts of Litchfield Shire, Gunn Point,
Channel Island Regions, Jenkins Road and the sections of:
» the Stuart Highway from Arnhem Highway to Jenkins Road, and
a the Arnhem Highway from Stuart Highway to Edwin Road.
The Darwin Rural Area is defined as being the area from the Southern Entrance of Pine Creek on the Stuart
Highway marking the Southern Boundary, Whaeldanks Creek Daly River Road (PRP12/6.45km) forms the Western
Boundary and Cahill Crossing (PRP15) on the Oenpelli Road forms the North Eastern Boundary.
Various roads and tracks within NT. Parks & Wildlife Service Reserves also form part of the site.
Various roads and tracks within Kakadu National Park (KNP) also form part of the site.
