Alpurrurulam - Equip New Water Source and Construct Rising Main and Power Line

The community of Alpurrurulam has faced ongoing water capacity and quality challenges for several years. Historical water demand patterns indicate that the community’s water usage has frequently exceeded the current Borefield's production capacity, even with all the four existing bores operating concurrently.

There are also concerns about water quality, primarily attributed to excessive levels of fluoride, hardness, and iron, resulting in water that does not consistently meet the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) standards.
