NT Health requires a purpose-built 4WD mobile breast screening unit to support the continued delivery of BreastScreenNT services across the Northern Territory. Designed to operate in remote and challenging environments, the new unit will integrate advanced mammography imaging technology within a fully self-contained clinical facility, including dedicated screening, reception, and staff spaces. This investment will replace the existing mobile unit, which has reached the end of its operational life, and ensure the ongoing provision of safe, reliable, and accessible screening services. By strengthening mobile service capability, this initiative supports early detection and improves access to essential healthcare for women living in rural and remote communities.
