The requirement is to construct new shade sail structures to replace the existing systems at Wanguri Primary School. The existing shade structures sustained damage during Cyclone Fina, resulting in deterioration that requires full replacement.
The new shade structures must be constructed in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards and the Supplied Structural Engineered Plans. They must be safe, durable and suitable for school environments. Materials and construction methods must be appropriate for Territory climatic conditions, including wind loading, UV exposure and high-use public environments.
