Alice Springs Region - Yuendumu and Yuelamu - Installation of New Reverse-Cycle Air Conditioners to Remote Community Houses Including Decommissioning Evaporative Cooling Units and Associated Works

This procurement seeks to engage a contractor to undertake works at specified remote public housing dwellings at Yuendumu and Yuelamu Communities.

The works involve:

• Supply and install a split-system reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area of remote public housing dwellings that are without an existing cooling system (approximately 25 dwellings in total). 
• Decommission and dispose of existing evaporative cooling systems already installed in remote public housing dwellings, and supply and install a reverse cycle split-system air conditioner in the living area of each dwelling (approximately 57 dwellings in total). 
• Works to make good existing dwellings after the decommissioning of evaporative cooling systems are included in scope. 

The contractor will coordinate all necessary trades to complete the removal of evaporative cooling systems and the installation of new air conditioners to each house, with minimal interference to the occupants of each house.
