Supply and Delivery of Meals to Youth Justice Facilities for a Period of 36 Months

The Department of Corrections, Youth Justice requires nutritious and healthy meals 7 days a week for both dinner and lunch. 
Meals are to be designed but not limited to:
•    Promote health and wellbeing.
•    Reduce the risk of diet-related conditions, such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure and obesity
•    Meals need to consist of a range of vegetables, dairy, grains and protein

•    Meals will limit salty, sugary and fatty foods
•    Behaviour modification through nutrition
•    Flexible dietary requirement
Meal quantities are estimated at fifty (50) young detainees per day, indicative only as the number varies daily depending on the detainee’s movement.
