Alice Springs Region - Repairs, Maintenance and Drilling of Road Water Bores for a Period of 36 Months

Scope of Works:
• Cleaning & clearing of existing bore holes, casing, and screens.
• Pump testing to confirm existing water supply flow rates.
• Replacing corroded or rusted casing with either steel or PVC casing.
• Drilling of new or replacement bore holes to an approximate depth of 80m, depths greater than 80m requires Superintendents approval.
• Construction of concrete slab around the casing at the surface, weld cap to seal casing and erect a bore identification RN pole and plate.

Additional work ordered by the Superintendent may consist of:
• Digging of mud pits
• Backfilling of abandoned bores
• Decommissioning of bores
