Provision of a hospital-to-hospital (door-to-door) aeromedical evacuation service, from a Territory hospital (usually Royal Darwin Hospital) to an interstate hospital, utilising a fully medically equipped aircraft. The service shall include aircraft, pilots, nursing and medical staff, all required medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and medical gases for the urgent interstate transfer of patients on an as required basis. It will also include suitable road transport between hospital and airport/ hangar at both ends. The contract is for 60 months from date of award. The service will be tendered in two parts: Part A- for a single dedicated service, with the jet to be based in Darwin, and Part B- for a panel of providers, to be called upon when the Dedicated jet is unavailable.
