Darwin- Provision of Consultancy Services for a Scope of Works for Environmental Health Baseline Studies in the Beetaloo Sub-basin- SREBA
An appropriately qualified contractor is required to develop a scope of works for the Environmental Health baseline studies in the Beetaloo Sub-basin as outlined in the SREBA Framework, including a comprehensive project plan and deliverables of the next stages of the Environmental Health baseline studies and the following:
- a literature review and desktop analysis to identify gaps in data that needs to be collected
- a defined approach to the collection, collation and synthesis of baseline information and assessment
- engagement with the Regional Reference Group
- requirements for baseline studies and assessment, eg
- expertise and experience in undertaking environmental health baseline assessments in remote/regional locations,
- local Aboriginal participation in the study and opportunities for employment as active research partners and informants and future monitoring and evaluation
- a project plan with anticipated timeframes identifying interdependencies between elements, critical constraints, risks and progress review points
- boundaries and affected communities in the region
- reporting and data management requirements
a defined approach to development of a regional monitoring framework.
