Katherine - PFAS 10MLD Water Treatment Plant - Supply and Installation of Hydraulic, Mechanical and Electrical Requirements

 

PFAS groundwater treatment plant is being constructed, and co-located on the site of the existing Katherine Water Treatment Plant. The plant will have the capability of treating 10ML/d from the existing PFAS contaminated groundwater source and will have an additional 5ML/d duty standby capacity.

 

PWC has completed the majority of the design work for the plant and has commenced initial works and initiated several supply contracts for long lead items.

 

Early civil and electrical works and supply and install of the water storage tanks are complete/under construction. The contracts for the building enclosure, equipping bores and rising mains will be let in the near future.

 

The successful contractor will be required to complete the hydraulic, mechanical and electrical infrastructure to finalise the plant.
