Expression of Interest (EOI) - Capability to Support the Coordination and Delivery of Selected Field Services

PWC provides essential electricity, water, sewerage and related services across the Northern Territory, including metropolitan, regional and remote locations.

PWC currently delivers field services through multiple contracts, suppliers, delivery models and internal accountabilities. These arrangements support a broad range of operational, maintenance, inspection and asset-support activities across different service categories, asset classes and geographic locations.

While the current arrangements continue to support day-to-day service delivery, evolving service requirements, compliance obligations and asset complexity are increasing the importance of effective coordination, service visibility and delivery performance. PWC is therefore considering its longer-term approach to the support, coordination and delivery of selected field services.

The market assessment will consider capability relevant to the support, coordination and delivery of field-based operational, maintenance and related support services across PWC’s metropolitan, regional and remote operating environments.

Indicative areas may include:

·         remote essential-services support;

·         selected site and facilities services; 

·         selected repair and maintenance services, including planned, reactive and specialist (incl. critical response) activities; and

·         related field-service support and enabling capabilities;

Construction services, including design and construction activities associated with brownfield and greenfield power and water infrastructure works, are outside the scope being assessed through this EOI.

PWC is nevertheless interested in developing a broader understanding of relevant market capability. Proponents may therefore provide a brief, high-level overview of their capability in these areas for PWC’s information and potential future consideration. This information will not form part of the assessment of responses to this EOI or affect the outcome of the EOI process.
