Katherine Region - Buntine Highway - Upgrade to Two Lane Seal -10.0km to 26.5km & Heavy Vehicle Rest Area at 60km

Upgrade a 16.5km section of the Buntine Highway of existing narrow bitumen seal to a two-lane bitumen seal plus construction of a heavy vehicle rest area.

Works will include but not limited to:

Earthworks in cut and fill
Drainage works including culverts and floodways
Gravel extraction and processing
Construction of 10m carriageway formation with 9m bitumen seal (two 3.5m lanes)
Construction of a heavy vehicle rest area (Inbound and Outbound)
