Darwin - Wurrumiyanga (Nguiu) - Services to Operate the freight handling services at the Wurrumiyanga Barge Freight Handling Facility for a Period of 24 Months

The requirement is for an operator to manage the Wurrumiyanga Barge Facility and undertake a range of tasks including but not limited to:

i.          Barge unloading & loading operations;

ii.         Freight handling, sorting and packing;

iii.        Freight distribution, for collection on site or transported to customers;

iv.        Warehousing and storage, including freezer/fridge storage or pallet stacking;

v.         Manage incoming and outgoing freight manifest administration, 

DIPL to seek an Operator who can demonstrate that they have the resources, skills, relevant and experience necessary to perform and manage the Barge Facility Services in an efficient, safe, cost-effective and controlled manner. The Operator will need to have a Facility Manager who has previous relevant experience in logistics management and/or warehouse operations.
