Darwin - Groundwater Disinfection Stage 2 - Ultra Violet (UV) Disinfection

Groundwater extracted from the Howard East Borefield is currently disinfected via chlorine injection. As part of Power and Water's commitment to continual water quality improvement, an ultra violet (UV) disinfection system is to be installed on the borefield rising main. A concept design has been developed. Suitably experienced Contractors are sought to design and construct a custom built UV disinfection system at the McMinns Water Storage Facility.
