The following dates will apply for the release and closing of request for tenders and quotations over the 2025/26 Christmas and New Year period for all regions.

The Contract and Procurement Services (CAPS) office will be closed between 29 December 2025 - 02 January 2026. Staff will be unavailable to assist you during this period, we will respond to any enquiries upon our return.

Tennant Creek Region - Maintenance of Road Furniture and Traffic Management for a Period of 36 Months

The contract compromises of the routine maintenance, repair, replacement of roadside and aerodrome furniture, including Traffic Management services across the Barkly region.This includes, but is not limited to:The supply, maintenance, and repair of road signs and roadside furniture, including guideposts, traffic signage, guard rails, bollards, cattle grids, posts, anchors, and all affiliated fixturesThe supply of aerodrome furniture and lighting in compliance with aviation and safety requirementsThe storage, management, and ongoing stock control of signs, fittings, and associated hardwareThe Contractor shall also provide on-site traffic management services, including the provision and installation of appropriate signage and devices, to facilitate both scheduled maintenance activities and emergency response situations.

Tennant Creek Region - Tablelands Highway - Reinstate Pavement and Shoulders at Various Locations

The works are situated along the Tableland Highway within the Barkly Region, positioned between the Carpentaria Highway and the Barkly Highway. The works covers multiple locations extending from Chainage (CH) 52.00 km to Chainage (CH) 130.88 km.A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract consists of repairs, reconstruct and restoration of the flood damage roads occurred by ex-tropical cyclone Megan. Tablelands Highway was impacted by Tropical Low (cyclone) in March 2024 which has damaged the pavement and shoulders in various locations. Tablelands Highway is an essential public asset. The contract is to undertake Repairs and Restoration of the various flood damaged sections of Tablelands Highway, including but not limited to pavement formation, stabilization, spray seal, improving the table drains and batter slopes to preflood conditions.
