Barunga is a remote aboriginal community 65 km east of Katherine and has an estimated population of 390 people. The Community has 2 x 1200kL ground level tanks that have exceeded their design life and are in very poor condition and need to be replaced. The current tanks will be replaced with 2 new tanks with an effective volume of 926kL.

The Northern Territory Fire and Emergency Service and Northern Territory Police Force require the supply and delivery of rear body assemblies that can be mounted/fitted onto light vehicle cab chassis.

Procurement NT are seeking to engage a suitably qualified Contractor for the delivery of accredited training in Procurement and Contracting to Northern Territory Government staff. Face to Face delivery will be based in Darwin and Alice Springs with options for online delivery. Courses delivered will cover Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (PSP40616), Diploma of Procurement and Contracting (PSP50616) and Advanced Diploma of Procurement and Contracting (PSP60616).

The Department of Lands, Planning and the Environment will seek to procure the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant to serve as the Independent Monitor (IM) for the McArthur River Mine. This role is essential to providing independent oversight of both the mine's operations and the activities of the regulator.The successful Consultant will have demonstrated expertise in environmental performance assessment within the mining sector, along with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills - particularly experience working with regional and Aboriginal communities.The IM may be an environmental or mining agency, a university, or a qualified environmental consultancy with the necessary expertise and capability.Key Deliverables will include:Stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on Traditional Owners and the broader Borroloola community.Annual review assessing compliance of the mine operator and regulator with the environmental (mining) licence held by McArthur River Mine Pty Ltd.Annual reporting of review findings to the Minister, the McArthur Rive Mine Community Reference Group, and the Borroloola community.Further information about the Independent Monitor is available online https://nt.gov.au/industry/mining/decisions/independent-monitor-for-the-mcarthur-river-mine

The objective of this project is to ensure the operational efficiency, safety and compliance of theWarruwi Barge Landing. These works will include the repair, removal and replacement of damagedconcrete as required of various sections of the existing ramp and nearby infrastructure. This project also aims to increase the safety of the site by installing new solar lighting and additional operational signage.
